There are some important things to consider when buying a bike, what you are going to use it for, how often you are going to ride it, and your budget.

You can use a men’s mountain bike for many different things, from riding mountainous trails, going over rough terrain and enjoying the outdoors with friends. If you can, try to find one with a warranty, and if there is an extended one available, you should purchase it. Usually extended warranties don’t cost that much extra, and are well worth the cost.

On the higher end of the scale, there is the Mongoose Status Dual Suspension 26″ bike, with disc brakes, trigger shifting and a full aluminum suspension package. It has a fully adjustable seat, and specially designed wheels. This model is twenty four speed and sells retail for just under $350.

There are many other websites that have multiple listings, and there are price comparison sites as well. Be careful when visiting these sites, because while they do locate the lowest prices of men’s mountain bikes, each retailer has their own policies on shipping, warranties and guarantees.
